  Whenever I'm in or driving through Ramona, I always stop at Los Rancheros for my Mexican seafood treat.
  The staff has always been extra friendly and cheerful and the shrimp burritos are stuff with huge shrimp!

  I ate here when I was visiting a friend in Ramonaprior to a committee meeting . Not bad. The gal that took My order was pleasant. It didn't take long to fill my order. I had a carne asada quesadilla.  The meat was too well done for my personal preference. There wasn't as much meat as I felt there should have been. I did like the cheese they put on it. I didn't like the fact that horchata did not have free refills. Nor did I like the fact that they didn't offer a Veterans or senior discount.  The manager apologized and said they were working on implementing them. He was friendly in the discussion. My friend had a cheese quesadilla. He seemed to enjoy it. With all the other choices on Ramona it's not likely that I'll be a regular there. I may go again if my friend wants to go there.

  Okay I have to update, I promised myself I would not update this review unless they were consistently back to the quality they were before. Well I have been there nearly 6 times in the last 3 months and it is consistent, really good carne, really good carnitas and polo as well. I have to admit they turned this place back around. It is definitely close to what they were years ago with that unique crispy carne asada (IMHO crispy is the only way to cook carne). So glad this place came back, it was so long ago my favorite and is once again. I hope they keep it going, I visit as often as I can to do my part.

  I stopped by this location on my way home from work. I was told my total was going to be $9.36 and was charged $1.00 more at the window. I really hope this was an honest mistake because I paid with cash not a card. Also they typically don't provide a total until you get to the window and don't repeat the order back to you. I asked for a chicken taco and received something different.

  Very good. Got simple beans and cheese burritos with rice. Sooo good. And their red sauce is the best in town. Will forsure be returning. The service was also very good... the only reason I did not give 5 stars is I feel the burritos were kind of small and the wait could of been shorter. But still very good food
